Every ministry has its "thumb-print". You will find ours is a balanced teaching of the Word of God, verse by verse and cover to cover. We believe that the Bible holds the answers to life, and as we study it, we experience its life-changing power.
Living out our faith is important, so we reach out to the world through
acts of service, connection and compassion.
Celebrating who we are in Christ is important too.
He knows us by name, forgives all our sins and directs our steps.
He gives us grace and strength to live for Him. He works all things together for our good and He promises us that we will live in heaven with Him forever!
At Reach, we believe our new life in Christ should be celebrated 24/7!
Growing up an atheist, I was a senior in college when the Gospel changed my life. Thru the ministry of Christian friends, I had been encouraged to read the Bible. One night I read through the Gospel of John, learned of God's love and gave my life to Jesus.
My journey as a Christian brought me to Calvary Chapel as well as a calling to serve. Over the past 30 years, I've lead Children's Ministry, Youth, Men's Ministry and College & Career. Through these experiences I witnessed the power of the Bible to change people's lives and knew God had called me to simply teach the truth of Jesus. Since then I have taught not only in Calvary Chapel, but as part of international missions in Peru, Chile, Kenya and Nepal.
I'm excited to be the pastor of Reach Orlando! My heart’s desire can be summed up in Paul’s words to the Ephesians: “‘Til we come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” I believe that the desire of God and the purpose of the Church is to be a place where we can grow in our relationship with Christ through the study of His Word.
